Eight people died at the headquarters of Siam Commercial Bank in Bangkok, leaving seven others injured, when workers accidentally released fire extinguishing chemicals during an upgrade of the building’s safety system. The release of Pyrogen aerosol, a chemical fire retardant normally intended to deprive fire of oxygen, caused the tragedy.
