China manufacturing stops losing jobs for first time in five years

Manufacturing activity in March grew at fastest pace since 2012

China’s factories took a break from downsizing, according to the country’s March purchasing managers’ index, reports the Financial Times.

Output and export orders were also slightly up, showing a continued positive trend for external and domestic demand.

Some economists are still concerned, though, of the property investment-led growth, which is not what the government has indicated they want to see.
