China to further open up to foreign investment

China's commerce minister said Monday that the government will push policies to increase foreign investment in 2017.

China’s newly appointed commerce minister, Zhong Shan, speaking at a conference on Monday said that China will further open up to foreign investment this year, according to Chinese state media. Efforts will include establishing free trade zones as well as harmonizing foreign and domestic investment rules, according to Xinhua.
