Chinese firms compete for US$8 billion Pakistan rail project
An agreement is expected to be signed at the One Belt, One Road summit next month
Four Chinese firms, including China Railways Group and China Communications Construction Company, are reportedly vying for billions of dollars’ worth of rail projects in Pakistan.
Indian Daily News & Analysis reports that the contracts are part of the ML-I project of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
According to the report, the financing agreement for the project is expected to be signed at the One Belt, One Road summit to be held in Beijing next month.
