Vessels warned off after first ever entry into area
Two Chinese coast guard ships entered waters off of Cape Henashi in the Sea of Japan on Monday morning, later exiting the area after being issued a warning by the Japanese coast guard, reports the Japan Times.
The ships were later spotted off Cape Tappi, also in the Sea of Japan, before exiting.
It was the first time Chinese vessels had entered the particular area, and comes after Chinese ships entered waters around two islands off of Kyushu for the first time.
