Body of woman pulled from sea off To Kwa Wan
Deceased believed to have worked in Hong Kong as domestic helper, local media cite police sources saying
The body of a woman who was reported by local media to be a domestic worker was pulled from the sea off To Kwa Wan, Kowloon, on Monday morning.
Fire Services Department rescuers recovered the unconscious woman from the sea shortly after receiving a report from passersby at about 5am. Attempts to resuscitate her failed and she was pronounced dead on arrival at hospital, Oriental Daily reported.
Preliminary investigation showed the deceased was a domestic worker, aged between 30 and 40, the Headline Daily reported, citing police sources. Police continue to investigate the incident.
