Drivers reminded to beware of boars on roads in Europe
It can be 'boaring' on a road trip through Croatia or Italy and it pays to keep your eyes open if you're behind the wheel
People from Asia taking a holiday in Europe and driving through some countries should be aware of the dangers on roads in parts of the continent – wild boars.
In a recent article on Total Croatia News, Paul Bradbury, who has lived in Croatia since 2003, recalled hitting a wild boar in his car.
Bradbury said he thought about getting out of his vehicle to check the damage, but decided to leave after seeing two more unfriendly boars nearby.
A video by Gui Machado, 26, who drove from Thiesi to Torralba in Italy on March 31, showed dozens of wild boars crossing a road.
