A 47-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday after he was detained at Hong Kong International Airport and later discharged 41 pellets of cocaine that he had concealed in his body, local media reported.
The man arrived in Hong Kong at 2pm and was detained in joint customs and police operation, who were tipped off about a man carrying drugs, Apple Daily reported.
The man was taken to hospital and later discharged 41 pellets of suspected cocaine wrapped in plastic bags, Oriental Daily reported. If confirmed to be cocaine, the drugs would be worth HK$676,500 (US$87,000) in the market.
The police did not disclose the nationality of the suspect.
