EDF bonds with Asia Clean on photovoltaic projects
Energy deal aims to bring together the strengths of both parties to give full play to ACC's distributed solar power resources
EDF Energies Nouvelles, a subsidiary of French utility firm Électricité de France, and Asia Clean Capital have announced they will set up a joint venture in China to establish photovoltaic power generation projects, Xinhua news agency reported.
The two companies said the newly formed joint venture will bring together the strengths of both parties to give full play to the existing distributed solar power resources owned by Asia Clean Capital.
Meanwhile, EDF’s experience in offering solutions on energy consumption are of great value to enterprises promoting the use of green electricity.
EDF’s new energy subsidiary is a market leader with a total installed capacity of over 10GW, mainly consisting of wind and solar photovoltaic onshore and offshore.
While Asia Clean Capital focuses on rooftop photovoltaic projects and provides one-stop clean energy services to businesses.
