Asian stocks saw gains across the board on Monday. Financials led H-shares after China announced opening its bond market to foreign investors

Emerging Asia is a sea of green this morning with Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong H-shares, Indonesia and Vietnam up half a percent, Korea up 0.75%, and India up nearly 2%. Banks, insurers and asset managers continue to lead H-shares after China announced the opening of its $9 trillion bond market to foreign investors.  The Nifty is at a new record on optimism about Prime Minister Modi’s economic plans following his party’s election victory in Uttar Pradesh.
