Financials led gains in early US trading

Energy and energy infrastructure firms were the main losers.

Following Europe, financials led gains to US indices with Morgan Stanley and Citigroup up about 1% and JP Morgan up 0.72%, followed by Goldman Sachs and Bank of America at half a percent each. Energy and energy infrastructure firms were the main losers.
