Ford and Boeing have both confirmed expansion overseas, with Ford set to make SUVs and Boeing setting up their first aircraft manufacturing location outside of the US. As CNBC reported yesterday, in both cases the production will be located in China. Yes, the same China that has stolen all of the American “forgotten man’s” jobs, to borrow Trumpian parlance. It turns out that, despite the seismic shift felt by many after the US election in November, globalization is still a thing.
