HNA Group to sell more overseas assets
Properties include holdings in London, New York, Bora Bora, Melbourne and Brussels
HNA Group is looking for buyers to take over nine of its real estate projects across the border, continuing the sell-off of its overseas assets, The Paper reported.
It includes five office buildings, including the Reuters headquarters building in London, Tishman Speyer’s Hudson Spiral project, the Brooklyn Wheeler project, the Brooklyn Messi project as well as Credit Suisse AG in London.
The rest are four hotels including Cassa Hotel in New York Manhattan, the St. Regis Bora Bora, the AH Five Star Training Center in Melbourne and the Tangla Hotel in Brussels.
HNA Group has been accelerating the sale of its offshore assets since the beginning of the year. It sold 1180 Avenue of Americas on 6th Avenue in Manhattan, for US$300 million in February.
While in June, Northwood Investment Corp. took over HNA’s 123 Mission St. office building in San Francisco, for US$300 million.
