Hong Kong police arrest three men in gambling den
Police say they confiscated two electronic-fishing gambling tables, a batch of stored-value cards and HK$1,200 in cash
Hong Kong police arrested three people in a raid on an illegal casino set up in an apartment in Mong Kok, Kowloon, on Wednesday. At 6pm, a 48-year-old male resident of the city was arrested for allegedly operating the gambling den in the apartment on Argyle Street, Oriental Daily reported.
A 24-year-old man from mainland China who held a two-way permit and a 28-year-old asylum seeker from India were arrested for allegedly gambling in the establishment.
Police confiscated two electronic-fishing gambling tables, a batch of stored-value cards and HK$1,200 (US$154) in cash.
The three men were detained in Mong Kok Police Station to assist with the investigation.
