Knife-attack frenzy leaves man in a pool of blood
Police reveal he had been involved with a Triad organization and hint it was a gang-related incident
Police are hunting three men for stabbing a 34-year-old man in Tai Po in Hong Kong’s New Territories on Wednesday night. The victim, whose surname is Tang, was attacked in front of a health clinic on Nan Wan Road in Tak Po, Oriental Daily reported.
Surveillance camera footage captured a white vehicle arriving at the scene carrying three men armed with knives. It later showed them stabbing Tang in a frenzied assault.
The victim, who was with his sister at the time, was left in a pool of blood on the sidewalk. His sister then ran into the clinic for medical assistance.
Tang was treated by a doctor before being rushed to a hospital, where his condition is unknown.
According to a police source, the victim had been involved in a triad organization and they had not ruled the stabbing to a gang-related feud, Apple Daily reported.
