Man accused of wounding older brother with scissors
The younger man was arrested after allegedly using a 16-centimeter pair of scissors to stab the victim, who was later in serious condition in hospital
Police arrested a man for allegedly wounding his older brother with a pair of scissors on a street in Yuen Long in Hong Kong’s New Territories on Wednesday.
At 5pm, a 20-year-old man and his 32-year-old brother had a quarrel on a street in Long Ping Estate in Yuen Long, Apple Daily reported.
The younger man allegedly used a 16-centimeter pair of scissors to stab his older brother.
A video shot by a witness showed the older brother’s head covered with blood, and saying, “Are you insane? I’m your brother…. You want to kill me?”
However, the younger man ignored his brother’s pleas and punched his head a few times. Meanwhile, a girl in green jacket yelled, “No … no” and dragged the younger man from behind.
Police were called and arrested the younger man for alleged wounding.
The older brother was sent to Tuen Mun Hospital and was listed in serious condition.
It was understood that the two men had quarreled because the older brother did not get along with younger man’s girlfriend, Oriental Daily reported.
