Meeting to focus on bolstering ties, resolving North Korea nuclear crisis
South Korean President Moon Jae-in and US President Donald Trump will hold a bilateral summit in Seoul on November 7 that will focus on ways to bolster the alliance between the two nations and find ways to resolve the North Korean nuclear crisis, Moon’s presidential office said on Monday.
Trump will be the first foreign leader to visit South Korea since Moon took office in May and will be the first US president make a full state visit to South Korea in more than two decades.
Korea JoongAng Daily reports that Moon will hold bilateral talks and a joint press conference with the US president and host a state dinner with Trump and his wife on November 7.
