The victim was released from jail earlier the same day. When she went back to Sham Shui Po at 9am, she found two South Asian men had taken the place where she used to live.
They argued and then the two men punched and kicked her before hitting her several times with an iron rod. The woman was bleeding from a head wound.
The duo took HK$7,100 (US$908) in cash that the victim dropped accidentally and ran away.
She reported the case to police and was later sent to the hospital for medical treatment.
