Restaurant customer dies after violent dispute over rotis
Two workers arrested in connection with fatal beating of 45-year-old man
Two employees at an eatery in Delhi were arrested after a customer they allegedly assaulted during a row died of his injuries.
According to police, on Sunday night, Yash Bahadur, 45, went to the eatery for dinner in an inebriated condition. An argument ensued between him and the two employees, Logan and Manoj, over the number of rotis he had been served and they thrashed him. Bahadur bit off Lotan’s index finger, and the pair allegedly flew into a rage, hitting him with a stick and kicking his vital organs until he fell unconscious. He later died in hospital.
Bahadur worked at an electronics shop at Netaji Subhash Marg and had been staying with his family near Chandni Chowk.
