Sports: S. Korea beats Japan 2-1 in Women’s East Asian Cup

South Korea beat Japan 2-1 at the Women’s East Asian Cup in Wuhan on Tuesday, giving the team their second victory in the ongoing tournament after they defeated China on Saturday.

The first half saw Japan in the lead with a goal from Emi Nakajima, but South Korea came back in the second half when captain Cho So-Hyun equalised in the 54th minute. Read more
