Seven Vietnamese universities among Asia’s best
Ton Duc Thang University made its debut on the QS rankings
Seven Vietnamese universities have been included in the latest list of top Asian universities compiled by the British consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds.
On Tuesday, QS revealed the latest list of the 505 top universities in Asia. Seven universities in the category are from Vietnam, the Vietnam News Agency reported.
They are Vietnam National University–Hanoi, ranked 124th; Vietnam National University–HCMC (Ho Chi Minh City), 144th; Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the 261-270 grouping; Ton Duc Thang University HCMC, 291-300; Can Tho University, 351-400; and Hue University and Da Nang University, both in the 451-500 group.
VNU–Hanoi improved its ranking by 15 places from last year, remaining the country’s finest institution according to QS. Ton Duc Thang University made its first appearance on the rankings.
