Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, 74, breathed his last on Saturday after failing to recover from a respiratory ailment. The champion boxer had suffered for years from Parkinson’s disease, which ravaged his body.

Boxing legends Mike Tyson, George Foreman and Manny Pacquiao were among the millions who paid their tributes to ‘The Greatest’ pugilist of all time.

Ali was a giant of his time, a furious fighter whose influence was felt far beyond the ring. He engaged in some of the world’s most iconic fights even though his career was interrupted for more than three years when he refused to be drafted for military service during the Vietnam War.

Ali’s prolific 61-fight career featured bouts that are considered the greatest in history: a trilogy with Joe Frazier that produced “The Fight of the Century” and the “Thrilla in Manila,” and the “The Rumble in the Jungle” with George Foreman, among many others.
