Swedish cyclist critically injured in head-on collision
The 51-year-old hits windscreen of car and is sent to hospital after crash
A 51-year-old Swedish cyclist was critically injured in a head-on collision with a car in Shek O on the southeastern part of Hong Kong Island on Saturday morning.
At 10:30am, the woman named Eva, was riding along Cape D’Aguilar Road, Ming Pao Daily reported. At the Shek O Road crossroad, her bike collided head-on with a vehicle.
The woman hit the windscreen of the car before falling to the ground injuring her face and hands. She was sent to the hospital in critical condition. The 37-year-old male driver of the car called the police, Apple Daily reported.
The police is investigating.
