TCL Multimedia Technology Holdings Ltd, a Hong Kong-listed television maker, is aiming to boost its sales in Hong Kong in a bid to become one of the top five TV sellers in the city by 2020.
The company plans to press its rivals in Hong Kong in terms of sales volume next year, targeting a 5.5% market share and becoming the largest Chinese TV maker in the city by 2019, Will Chen Hua, TCL’s head of marketing in its Overseas Business Center, said in a media briefing on Wednesday.
The company wants to boost its market share in Hong Kong to 7% by 2020, he said, without providing the current figure.
