Teenager ‘committed double murder’ after getting out of jail
Stabbing victim allegedly sought revenge against his assailants
Police allege that a 17-year-old boy who was stabbed a year ago killed two of his assailants with a knife within a two-hour period.
Police say the teen, who was accompanied by four adult friends, murdered the first in West Delhi’s Khyala and then went to a central Delhi neighborhood and killed the second.
According to a Hindustan Times report, he had been placed in a juvenile justice home for chain snatching and was let out just a week before the double murder. Since being released, he had been seeking revenge against his two rivals, Sunil and Rahul, who had stabbed him following a series of quarrels over petty matters.
Police said the juvenile first went with a friend, Manor, 22, and three others to Khyala to kill Sunil, who was out on parole after serving a jail term for stabbing the teen. The pair allegedly stabbed Sunil in the neck and abdomen, reported Times of India. Then he returned to his own neighborhood, Nabi Karim, to find Kuldeep, say police. He allegedly stabbed the youth over 20 times.
