Three Indonesians arrested for prostitution, using drugs
The pair admitted to taking drugs and providing illegal sexual services, while the youngest lady nabbed had just run away from her employer for a day
Three Indonesians were arrested during an undercover operation by the New Taipei City Police on Friday evening focused on migrant workers who allegedly ran away from their employers, abused illicit drugs and did sex work.
The New Taipei City Police recently spotted an advertisement posted online of an Indonesian woman posing in underwear for sexy pictures on a bed, implying that sexual services were available at the “discount price” of NT$2,300 (US$76), the United Daily News reported.
An undercover officer visited the rented private suites and helped to arrest the three Indonesian women. Two packets of amphetamine with a combined weight of 1.39 kilograms, an inhaler, unused condoms and a bottle of lubricant were also seized.
Preliminary police inquiries found that Su and Rai, aged 32 and 31, had run away from their former employers and had been “wandering” in Taiwan for two years.
The pair admitted that they were taking drugs and providing illegal sexual services.
Meanwhile, the third woman, a 23-year-old named San, had run away from her employer for just a day when the women were arrested.
