Travel: Overseas visitors flood ‘Doraemon’ museum before 5th anniversary

One magical item of time-traveling cat Doraemon is the “dokodemo door” (anywhere door), which transports users to destinations beyond time and space. It seems that door is now being used by people from abroad to land at the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum here.
The museum, named after the creator of the long-running animated series “Doraemon,” has enjoyed a steady increase in non-Japanese visitors since opening in September 2011.
Ahead of its fifth anniversary, the museum in Kawasaki’s Tama Ward has added the magic of communication to fuel the trend. Read more
