There has been a healthy appetite for risk in Turkey’s equity markets, amid the central bank’s moves to prop up the currency and strong valuations. Bloomberg reports that investors are focusing on valuation as Turkey’s Borsa Istanbul 100 index is one of the world’s best-performing this year. The index is just shy of a record reached in May of 2013.
