Turkey is getting a boost from Chinese capital
Private capital from Turkey’s second-largest trading partner comes on top of huge infrastructure projects.
The Daily Sabah reported Friday that private Chinese capital is entering Turkey, with China’s ambassador to Turkey highlighting several large projects. While the two governments are working on a high-speed railway and nuclear power station, China’s Wanda has announced investment in a new resort, and China’s Tianchen Engineering has completed a natural gas storage project. The ambassador also stressed Turkey’s importance to the One Belt, One Road initiative.
