Twitter user takes a run at NYT’s Friedman over Saudi column
@anhistorian posts a rousing collection of New York Times headlines linking Saudi royals with intended reforms
An active Twitter user – named @anhistorian – has taken offense at New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman’s arguably softball interview with Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman by posting many examples of the Times’ stories on purported Saudi reform.
Friedman’s story, titled Saudi Arabia’s Arab Spring, at last, goes into significant detail on how the Crown Prince plans to bring back a level of tolerance in the conservative nation.
