A two-meter-long python was found on a beach at Sham Tseng in the New Territories on Tuesday.
Police received at 5pm a call from a lifeguard that a snake was found on Angler’s Beach near the 13 milestone on Castle Peak Road, HK01.com reported.
The lifeguard used a stick to coax the snake, a two-meter-long python, into a plastic water bucket before the police and snake catcher arrived.
The farm will determine whether it is suitable to release the python back to nature or not.
