Xi Jinping getting the Mar-a-Lago treatment

The White House is looking to talk N Korea, South China Sea, currency and trade

Axios first reported that the Trump administration is setting up the first meeting between the US president and Chinese President Xi Jinping, tentatively planned for April 6-7 at Mar-a-Lago. The meeting is likely to be a tense, high-stakes affair, against the backdrop of Trump’s hawkish rhetoric towards China, in contrast to the celebration of US-Japan friendship that was Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s visit last month. There will reportedly be no golfing this time.
