What's New

June, 2002

Welcome to the new look Asia Times Online. Besides the look, we have introduced several new features and services.

Archive
Readers have long asked for a search/archive system so they can find our older articles. Unfortunately, we are still unable to provide a searchable database. What we do have now is a system that allows you to access any of our Front Pages, and the articles on them, dating back to February 2001.

More business news
Our main pages now have a specific area for business news. We will be continually upgrading our business coverage over the course of the year.

Currency converter
Our currency converter handles 164 currencies, from Afghanis to Zimbabwean dollars, with up to date exchange rates provided by leading market data contributors.

Advertising information
We're offering the cheapest rates available just about anywhere, and we put advertisers in touch with a global readership comprising people of importance and influence.

About Us
Many of you have asked: "Who are you guys?" Now you can find out.

And …
We have introduced many new pages featuring specific writers and topics. For example, there is a Book Reviews section, a Central Asia Oil and Gas Briefs page, a page devoted to our popular Pyongyang Watch column, and another to our ongoing "Sri Lanka: The Untold Story" serialization.

We expect to continue improving our website, expanding our coverage and introducing new services. Any comments or suggestions from readers are most welcome. Please email editor@atimes.com .
