C100 2017 Annual Conference, Washington DC

The Committee of 100, a leadership organization composed of prominent Chinese Americans in business, government, academia and the arts will hold its Annual Conference in Washington, DC on May 18-20.
The conference is billed as the United States’ premier conference on US-China relations and Asian American advancement.
Over 500 major influencers in government, business, academia and the media are expected to attend. Asia Times is proud to be an official media sponsor of the event which is being held at the Ronald Reagan Building and the JW Marriott hotel in Washington.
Iowa Governor Terry Branstad and China’s ambassador to the US, Cui Tiankai have been invited as speakers. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee has unanimously approved Branstad’s nomination to be the next US ambassador to China.
