China has invited India to join it in investing in the development of Sri Lanka, including a multibillion dollar project to build Colombo International Financial City. Such a partnership could signal a new phase in Sino-Indian economic relations.

Taiwan is committed to building a sustainable cross-strait relationship, Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen reiterated at the ‘Double Ten’ celebrations in Taipei on Monday. “We can talk about anything beneficial to peaceful cross-strait development and the livelihood of people on both sides,” said Tsai.
